Legendary wrestler Artur Taymazov extended help to Uzbekistan students. He is a Russian who represented Uzbekistan at the Olympics. In the wake of the coronavirus crisis which has gripped the whole world, Taymazov decided to provide food to about 100 students in Vladikavkaz who are currently now studying at mining and Metallurgical institute of North Caucasus.
He says Uzbekistan is his second home and everything related to his sports career is connected to this country. He added that it would have been wrong to leave them behind in this pandemic.

“Everyone knows that Uzbekistan is my second homeland. Everything related to my sports career and sports life is connected to this beautiful country. I love Uzbekistan and the people of Uzbekistan. I think that it would be wrong to leave these guys without attention” – said Taymazov.
Taymazov is five-time world medallist including two gold and silver and one bronze medal. He has also won three Asian Games titles and two-time Asian Champion gold medallist. Besides this, he is also two-time Olympic medallist.
