The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation is introducing additional measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. The statement published on the website of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation is published by WRESTRUS.RU.
The Russian Ministry of Sports recommends that all-Russian sports federations and executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of physical education and sports cancel or postpone all official sports competitions in the Russian Federation from March 21, 2020 until further notice.

The Russian Ministry of Sports also recommends excluding the participation in all physical education and sports events of athletes, coaches and other specialists from the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in which quarantine is declared.
The executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of physical education and sports are recommended to establish a limited mode of operation of organizations that carry out sports training for children. From March 21, 2020 to April 10, 2020 classes should be held only with the written consent of the parents and in groups of no more than 30 people.
The corresponding order “On the cancellation or rescheduling of sports competitions on the territory of the Russian Federation in order to prevent the importation and spread of a new coronavirus infection” was signed by Oleg Matytsin, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation.
