The coronavirus outbreak continues to hamper the sporting world. Competitions are further getting pushed due to the pandemic. It has also forced people to stay indoors as a precautionary measure. But while athletes eagerly wait to return to the training arena, they have found unconventional ways to continue their preparation for the Olympics. Azerbaijan’s World Champion Mariya Stadnik, 31, posted a video of her training with her dog.

The grappler posted a 13 seconds video of her training session with the dog on Instagram. In it, she can be seen moving around just like on the mat, while her dog tries to catch her.
She is not the first wrestler to do something like this. Earlier, Kyrgyzstan’s U23 world champion Ulukbek Zholdoshbekov had posted a video of him training with his mother. The Kyrgyzstan wrestler believes that one day he will become a champion. The reason for it is because ‘mama trains him’. He is the U23 world champion. In a video posted by him, Ulukbek goes to the kitchen where her mother can be seen cooking. He starts to practice the move in a fun way. Initially, his mother is reluctant to join and just keeps laughing. But later she also joins the fun and reciprocates to her son’s enjoyment.
The USA wrestler Tamyra Mensah Stock had also posted a video in which she urged her fans to stay fit. She also demonstrated a way of doing it and that was through doing arm curls with water jars.
