Turkish freestyle wrestlers bagged one gold and three bronze medals in the 7th edition of CISM Military World Championships in China’s Wuhan.
The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) finished second with four medals in freestyle wrestling (Kushti) category in the 2019 Military World Games.
Turkish wrestlers Taha Akgul won gold, while Fatih Yasarli, Soner Demirtas and Selahattin Kilicsallayan captured a bronze medal each.

Russia finished the competition first with three gold and one bronze medals. Iran and Korea won a gold each in 97kg & 57kg on the second day of the wrestling (Kushti) competition.
In the women’s category, host wrestlers from China proved their supremacy. China won Gold medals in 57 & 50kg categories. In the 53kg category, People Republic of Korea won the Gold medal.
On the third day of the wrestling event, Greco-Roman form of wrestling (Kushti) competition will be played.
